We are an official Citizen dealer, and every watch comes original with manufacturer warranty. You order online and we deliver to your door; if a strap or gasket needs replacing later, our own watch service takes care of it.
What kind of brand is Citizen?
Citizen is a Japanese watch brand: it started in Tokyo in 1918 under the name Shokosha, and Citizen Watch Co. was established in 1930. The name was suggested for a 1924 pocket watch by Tokyo's mayor, Shinpei Goto. Today it is part of the Citizen Group, which also includes Bulova, Frédérique Constant, Alpina and Arnold & Son. The brand's best-known development is Eco-Drive, which charges from any light, so there is no battery to replace – its roots go back to the 1976 Crystron solar watch.

What determines the price of a Citizen watch?
The movement, the material and the functions. Elegance and Sporty pieces form the entry level, Promaster and Tsuyosa the mid-range, titanium-case models and the Series 8 the upper tier, and the pinnacle is the Attesa Satellite with satellite time sync. Our range includes both men's and women's models.
Eco-Drive or automatic Citizen?
What we usually say: if you wear one watch every day and do not want to think about it, go Eco-Drive. If you like the movement living off the motion of your wrist and do not mind resetting it after a weekend rest, go automatic. There are traditional quartz Citizens too, mostly among the more affordable women's models. A large part of the range is made up of 10 atm watches suitable for swimming.

What is Citizen Eco-Drive?
Eco-Drive is Citizen's light-powered movement: the cell under the dial charges from sunlight and lamp light alike, so you never need to replace the battery regularly. Most of our Citizen range is built with this movement.

Which is the best Citizen automatic watch?
In terms of value and capability, the Tsuyosa is the most popular Citizen automatic, and the Series 8 is the top. The basic Automatic models are a good start if this is your first mechanical watch.
Can you swim with a Citizen watch?
Yes, with 10 atm (100 m) Citizen watches, and a large part of our range is like this. 5 atm models only survive splashes; for diving we recommend the 20 atm Promaster Marine.
Do Citizen watches come with a warranty?
Yes. As an official Citizen dealer, we deliver every watch original with manufacturer warranty. Out-of-warranty service and strap and gasket replacement are done by our own watch service.
