The Citizen Promaster is the brand's tool-watch line: Sky pilot watches and Marine diver watches. Our selection features men's models, all with light-powered Eco-Drive movements, and several of them with water resistance of at least 20 ATM. We are an official Citizen dealer, we deliver to your door with the manufacturer warranty, and in our own watch service we can also pressure-test a diver's watch for water resistance.
Promaster Sky, Marine or Land: what is the difference?
The Promaster is built around three directions. The Sky is made for pilots, with a busy dial and often a slide-rule bezel, and this is where we have the widest selection. The Marine is a diver's watch with a rotating bezel and strong water resistance, including the model nicknamed Godzilla. The Land is the branch for land and terrain use; if you are looking for one, ask what we can order.
Which Citizen Promaster diver's watch should you choose?
If you really dive, do not go for anything below 20 ATM (200 m), which is the water resistance that makes a watch a diver's watch. The range includes both 20 and 30 ATM Marine models. If you are only taking it on holiday for swimming, a 10 ATM Promaster is plenty, and its case is slimmer. The Moonphase and Radio versions are better for everyday wear, with an extra function.
How to look after your Promaster
- Rinse it with fresh water after sea water.
- Do not touch the crown underwater.
- Before the diving season, it is worth asking our service for a water resistance check.
If you are after a stopwatch rather than a diver's watch, you will also find chronographs in the Citizen range.
It is worth zooming in on the Sky bezel on the product page: the slide-rule scales look dense at first, but you will learn to use them in a few minutes, and then you can work out fuel or average speed without a calculator.

Can I dive with a Citizen Promaster?
With the 20 and 30 ATM Citizen Promaster Marine models, yes; these count as diver's watches. The 10 ATM Sky models are for swimming and snorkelling.
What is the Citizen Promaster Sky?
The Promaster Sky is Citizen's pilot watch line, with a busy, easy-to-read dial and often a slide-rule bezel. Our widest selection is in the Sky line, all Eco-Drive.
What is the Citizen Promaster Fugu?
Fugu is the nickname of one of the best-known Promaster Marine diver's watches, named after the pufferfish because of its spiky bezel. If you cannot find it in the range, ask us about ordering it.
What determines the price of a Citizen Promaster?
The water resistance, the functions and the material: the 10 ATM Sky models are at the more affordable end of the series, while the 20-30 ATM Marine divers and the Moonphase and Radio versions are higher.
