Norqain watches in our range: automatic wristwatches from the Adventure, Freedom and Independence families of the independent Swiss brand. As an official Norqain dealer we deliver a genuine watch to your door with the manufacturer warranty, and whatever is not in the webshop we can order for you. Who is behind Norqain?

Norqain is an independent Swiss watch brand founded in 2018, based in Nidau, next to Biel/Bienne. It was founded by Ben Küffer with Ted Schneider and Mark Streit, and the company is still family-owned and does not belong to any of the big watch groups. Some of the models run on the NN20/1 and NN20/2 manufacture calibres developed jointly with Kenissi: COSC-certified, with a power reserve of roughly 70 hours.

Adventure, Freedom or Independence – which Norqain family is for whom?

Norqain Adventure: the brand's sporty core line, in our range mainly with Adventure Sport models. Reach for it if you want one watch for work, hiking and the pool.
Norqain Freedom: cleaner case shapes, in the three-hand Freedom 60, the Freedom Chrono with a stopwatch and the dual-time-zone Freedom GMT.
Norqain Independence: the boldest pieces, including the Wild ONE and the skeletonised Independence Skeleton.

What determines the price of a Norqain watch?

The entry level is the Adventure Sport, the Freedom family sits in the middle range, and the Independence reaches up to the top of the brand. The price is determined by the movement (Sellita-based or NN20 manufacture calibre), the complication (chronograph, GMT, skeleton) and the case material (steel, NORTEQ composite). Norqain is in the upper price range of independent Swiss manufacturers, and in return you get COSC-certified accuracy and a long power reserve.

What to consider before choosing a Norqain

Case size: Norqain cases have character and often look bigger or smaller in photos than on the wrist. Check the diameter and thickness on the product page and compare them with your wrist circumference.
Water resistance: most models are rated 10 ATM, which is enough for swimming; if you want to dive, choose from the 20 ATM pieces.
Do you travel a lot? The Freedom GMT shows two time zones at once.

What is the NORTEQ material?

NORTEQ is Norqain's own-developed carbon-fibre composite case material. It became known with the Wild ONE model introduced in 2022.

Is there a women's Norqain watch?

There is, but few: the smaller-case models are found mainly in the Adventure family. If you are looking for a Norqain for a slimmer wrist, it is worth asking about ordering as well.
