Men's Titanium Watches – Citizen, TAG Heuer, Seiko Astron, Certina
A men's watch with a titanium case is roughly half as heavy as steel, and skin-friendly too. Among the men's titanium watches you will find Citizen Eco-Drive, Bering and Festina Titanium, Seiko Astron, Certina and TAG Heuer Monaco models with us. As an official dealer we deliver with the manufacturer's warranty, and our own watch service will size the titanium bracelet to your wrist.
Is a titanium watch worth buying instead of steel?
If you wear your watch all day, yes: titanium is light, does not feel cold on the skin and is good for people with nickel sensitivity. Its surface is slightly matt and greyer than steel. It is a softer material, so it picks up tiny scratches more easily, but on a brushed finish they are barely visible.
Which men's titanium watch should you choose?
- No battery changes: Citizen Titanium and Promaster Sky with Eco-Drive movement, charged by light.
- For travellers: Seiko Astron and Citizen Attesa Satellite – they set the time by GPS or radio signal.
- Minimalist design: Bering Titanium, Danish design, slim case.
- Swiss prestige: TAG Heuer Monaco, Formula and Aquaracer, Certina.
How can you adjust a titanium metal bracelet?
The links of a titanium bracelet can be removed just like steel ones, but the pins are often special. Leave this to a service: our own watch service will size it, and keep the removed links so they can be put back later.
For comparison, also see the men's watches by case material page. The weight given on the product page shows the difference between the steel and titanium versions well – with a metal bracelet it is even more striking.
Titanium men's watches – common questions
How much lighter is a titanium watch than steel?
The density of titanium is roughly 40% lower than that of steel, so the same watch is noticeably lighter. With a metal bracelet the difference is even bigger.
Does a titanium watch scratch?
Yes, natural titanium scratches more easily than steel. On a brushed, matt surface, though, tiny scratches are barely noticeable.
Which titanium watch needs no battery change?
Citizen Eco-Drive models charge from any light, so they need no regular battery changes. The same goes for solar Seiko Astron watches and titanium pieces with an automatic movement.
