What makes a women's watch analog?

An analog watch tells the time with hands on a dial, as opposed to a digital watch that shows numbers. That says nothing about the movement: an analog watch can be battery-powered quartz, automatic or light-charged solar. The women's analog watches in our range are mostly quartz, because they fit into slimmer cases and need little attention.

Which women's analog watch should you choose?

  • Clean, minimalist: Bering Classic and Ceramic women's, Cluse Gracieuse Petite.
  • Classic, for work: Citizen Elegance Lady, Seiko Classic women's, Lorus Women.
  • Swiss, for the long run: Tissot, Longines Conquest and La Grande Classique.
  • Sporty, but with hands: Tag Heuer Aquaracer or the analog women's version of the Casio G-Shock.

What case size looks good?

For a slim wrist, a 26–32 mm case is usually in proportion, while 34–36 mm models already give a "boyfriend" look. The strap matters a lot too: a Milanese metal strap is more delicate, while leather has a warmer feel. When choosing online, measure the case of your current favorite watch and use it as a guide: even a few millimeters of difference is clearly visible on the wrist.

You can browse the other movement types on the women's watches by movement page.

Women's analog watches – questions

What is the difference between an analog and a digital women's watch?

An analog watch shows the time with hands, a digital one with numbers. The movement of an analog watch can be quartz, automatic or solar as well; the appearance is what matters.

What case size should a women's analog watch have?

For a slim wrist, a 26–32 mm case is generally in proportion, while 34–36 mm gives a bolder, fashion-forward look. It is worth starting from the size of your current favorite watch.

Is there an automatic women's analog watch?

Yes, you will find automatic women's analog watches mainly from Swiss brands. They need no battery changes, as the movement of your wrist winds them.

Do women's analog watches come with a warranty?

Yes, as an official brand dealer we sell every watch with the manufacturer warranty, and our own watch service helps with battery changes and later maintenance.
