The Doxa watch has been a Swiss name since 1889, and you will find a wide selection in our range: men's and women's models, mostly with quartz movements, but with automatic pieces too. We are an official Doxa dealer, and every watch comes original with manufacturer warranty. You order online, we deliver to your door, and battery and strap changes are done by our own watch service.
Where do you know the Doxa name from?
Doxa was founded by Georges Ducommun in 1889 in Le Locle, Switzerland, and its headquarters later moved to Biel/Bienne. The brand's big hit was the 1967 SUB 300: one of the first professional dive watches that the general public could buy, with a patented rotating bezel and an orange dial, because tests showed this colour was the most visible underwater. It was developed with Jacques-Yves Cousteau's team, and Clive Cussler's novel hero Dirk Pitt wore a SUB 300T. In our range, however, the other face of Doxa predominates: classic, everyday and office watches.
Which Doxa collection should you choose?
- Doxa D-Light – the widest selection, men's and women's pieces, both quartz and automatic.
- Top Sport Collection – 5 atm, simple, everyday watches for women and men.
- Slim Line – a flat case that fits under a shirt cuff.
- Trófeo – the sportier men's line, with 10 atm.
A smaller selection of the Challenge, D-Lux, Neo Classic, D-Sport and the automatic D-Auto is also part of the range.
What determines the price of a Doxa watch?
The movement and the collection. The entry level is formed by the quartz models of the Challenge and D-Light, the mid-range includes the Top Sport, Neo Classic and D-Lux, and the automatics represent the upper tier. If the watch will be on your wrist every day, we usually recommend quartz: it is accurate and does not stop in a drawer. If you love mechanics, it is worth browsing the Doxa automatic watches.
