Tiko Time kids' watches – fun patterned watches from 5,500 HUF
We have nearly 60 Tiko Time kids' watches in stock right now, between 5,500 and 7,000 HUF: with dinosaur, football, spaceship, kitten, princess and racing car patterns and simple quartz movements. We see them as a first watch, the one a child learns to tell the time on. Our Anna-kút store has the most, you'll find some at Rókusi Tesco too, and at both locations our service changes batteries or straps on the spot.
Which Tiko Time watches can kids choose from?
Our Tiko Time range is almost entirely for children. Most models are unisex, but there are designs specifically for girls and for boys too:
- Boys' favourites: motocross, racing car, spaceship, football and dinosaur dials.
- For girls: flower, kitten and princess models.
- Plain pieces: black and white versions, for when a child wants a more “grown-up” watch.
Kids usually decide for themselves, and that's how it should be: the pattern they choose is the one they'll be happier to wear.
At what age can a child get their first watch?
Our experience is that the time comes when they're learning to read an analogue clock at school. At that stage, an easy-to-read analogue watch with numbers helps a lot. Tiko Time is perfect for this: cheap, light, and if it gets lost or broken, it's not the end of the world.
Is the Tiko Time kids' watch waterproof?
Most models aren't specifically water resistant – only a few pieces are 5 atm. Hand washing is usually fine, but it's best to take it off before bathing and swimming. If your child wants to take it to the pool, ask in the store which piece is the more water-resistant version.
What to look out for when buying a kids' watch
- The strap should be soft and easy to fasten, so the child can put it on alone.
- The dial should have clearly visible numbers, not just markers.
- Try it on their wrist: we'll adjust the strap to fit on the spot.
When the battery runs out, there's no need to buy a new watch: our service changes a Tiko Time battery quickly, and you can usually wait while it's done. That's part of how a cheap kids' watch lasts for years.
You'll find other brands on the watch brands page. Bring your child to our Anna-kút store and let them choose.
