Women's square watches – rectangular watches, from retro to Rado
You'll find a wide choice of women's square watches with us, from affordable retro pieces to premium Swiss models. Besides Casio's retro digitals, the Cluse La Tétragone and Gracieuse Petite, the Daniel Klein Premium, the Bering Classic and the Rado True Square all come with an angular case. We are an official dealer for every brand, the watch is delivered to your door with the manufacturer's warranty, and our own watch service takes care of strap changes and shortening metal bracelets.
Who suits a square women's watch?
An angular case has more character than a round one: it looks really elegant with a blouse or blazer, while a retro Casio feels relaxed with jeans and a T-shirt. On a slim wrist a smaller, rectangular case looks best because it lengthens the line of the hand; on a wider wrist, go ahead and choose a square one.
Which angular women's watch should you choose?
- Retro and sporty: Casio Collection, Vintage and Baby-G, Ice Watch Digit.
- Fashionable, jewellery-like: Cluse Gracieuse Petite and La Tétragone, Daniel Klein Premium, Fossil Raquel.
- Classic and elegant: Bering Classic, Seiko Classic women's models.
- Premium: Rado True Square, if you want a watch for life.
What to look out for when buying
Almost all women's angular watches have a quartz movement, and many of them are only 3 atm: handwashing is fine, showering is not. If you plan to wear it every day and don't want to keep taking it off, choose from the 5 atm models, and for swimming from the rarer 10–20 atm pieces. For a metal strap our service does the shortening, and we can replace a leather strap when it wears out. You can see the other case shapes on the women's watches by case shape page.
How to choose the size online
With an angular watch, the width of the case is what matters: measure the flat top of your wrist, and the case shouldn't be wider than that. The product details gives the case size and the strap material, so you can be sure before you order.
Frequently asked questions about angular women's watches
Are square women's watches still fashionable?
Yes, angular women's watches are popular again with the retro wave. They suit both elegant and casual outfits.
Which brands make square women's watches?
With us you'll find square women's models from Casio, Cluse, Daniel Klein, Bering, Fossil, Ice Watch, Tommy Hilfiger and Rado. Most of the selection comes from Casio and Cluse.
Which angular watch suits a slim wrist?
For a slim wrist we recommend a smaller, upright rectangular case, because it doesn't overhang the edge of the wrist. The Cluse Gracieuse Petite is a good example.
What determines the price of a square women's watch?
Retro Casio digitals are the entry level, fashion brands are mid-range, and the Rado True Square represents the premium range. The strap material and the type of movement also matter.
