Our range of Seiko men's watches runs from entry-level 5 Sports models to top-end Prospex divers. Most are automatic, but there are quartz, solar and Kinetic models too; 5 Sports, Presage, Prospex and Classic are the strongest series. We are an official Seiko dealer, with the factory warranty and our own watch service behind every watch.

Which Seiko men's watch should you get?

The decision usually comes down to two questions: what you will wear it for, and how much you want to spend. This breakdown helps most buyers narrow things down quickly.

  • First automatic, for everyday wear – Seiko 5 Sports, the brand's entry level.
  • For the office and a suit – Presage automatic or Classic quartz.
  • For the water and hard use – Prospex divers, with 20–30 bar.
  • With a stopwatch – Chronograph, Neo Sport or Speedtimer.

Automatic, quartz or solar – what is the difference?

An automatic is wound by the movement of your arm and may stop if you leave it off the wrist. Quartz is accurate but needs a new battery every few years. Solar charges from light, so there is no winding and no trip to change a battery. If you rarely wear your watch, solar is the most convenient.

What case size should you choose?

Seiko men's watches are typically 38–42 mm, with divers larger. On a slimmer wrist, 38–40 mm tends to sit well. When ordering online, measure your wrist and check the case diameter and thickness on the product page – if you already own a watch that fits well, compare against that.

On the full Seiko brand page you can see every series in one place. If you cannot decide, write to us and we will help you narrow down the choice.

Frequently asked questions about men's Seiko watches

What determines the price of a Seiko men's watch?

The series and the movement: the 5 Sports is the entry level, Presage and Classic are the middle range, and the Prospex divers and pieces with handcrafted dials sit at the higher end.

Which Seiko men's watch is good for diving?

For diving, choose the 20 or 30 bar Seiko Prospex divers, such as the Turtle or the Sumo. The 10 bar models are fine for swimming, but not for dives.

What case size do Seiko men's watches have?

Most Seiko men's watches are 38–42 mm, and divers can be larger. You will find the exact size on every product page.

Can a metal bracelet be sized to fit?

Yes, the links of metal-bracelet Seiko watches can be removed, so the bracelet can be fitted to your wrist. Our own watch service can help with that too.
