Quartz or automatic Doxa D-Light?
The special thing about the D-Light is that the same clean style is available with two kinds of movement. The quartz version is the more affordable part of the collection, it is accurate, and it only needs a battery every few years. The automatic belongs to the higher price tier and runs without a battery, but if you wear it rarely, it has to be restarted. We like to say: if this will be your only watch and you wear it every day, both are good; if you own several watches and rotate them, quartz is more convenient.

How water resistant is the D-Light?
The D-Light models are 3 atm, which is the splash-resistant level: handwashing and rain are fine, swimming and showers are not. If you want to take it into the water, the Trofeo is the better direction.
