Almost all Zeppelin automatic watches are men's models in an elegant style. Most come from the Friedrichshafen, Atlantic and New Captain's Line series, but there are Bodensee, Flatline and Mediterranee pieces too. As an official Zeppelin dealer, we deliver the watch to your door with the manufacturer warranty, and water-resistance checks and strap changes are handled by our own watch service.
How does an automatic Zeppelin work?
An automatic watch has a mechanical movement that a rotating weight winds from the motion of your wrist, so no battery is needed. When you take it off it keeps running for a while on its wound reserve, then stops, and you have to set it again when you put it on.

What should you look for when buying an automatic watch?
What we usually say is that an automatic is worth buying for someone who wears it almost every day, because then you do not have to keep setting it. It is a little less accurate than quartz, which is part of the genre. Be careful near magnetic fields and hard knocks, and, given the 5 ATM rating, do not go swimming with it.
