26 mm watch straps – extra-wide bands for large-cased watches

A 26 mm watch strap is rarely needed: this lug width is seen mainly on big, sporty cases and some smartwatches. In this size our range is narrow, mostly black straps for the Garmin QuickFit system. Before ordering, measure the lug width or check the strap size in your watch's specifications; if you need another material or colour, ask us and we will see what we can order.

How do you know you need a 26 mm strap for your watch?

The strap width is the inner distance between the two lugs of the case. Calipers are the most accurate, but the number is often printed on the inside of the old strap too. 26 mm is already the very wide category: if you measure 24, do not force a wider one on, because it will not fit between the lugs.

What to look out for with a Garmin QuickFit strap?

QuickFit is a quick-release system: you simply snap the fitting at the end of the strap into the case, without tools. With Garmin watches, then, the width is not enough; also check in your watch's specifications that it has a 26 mm QuickFit connection. If you are not sure, tell us the exact model and we will tell you.

  • A large watch with traditional lugs needs a traditional spring-bar strap, not QuickFit.
  • For sporty, large cases silicone or rubber is the most practical material, because it withstands sweat and water.

If the lug width turns out narrower, you can find the other sizes from 10 to 24 mm on the watch straps by width page. For a watch with traditional lugs, our own watch service can also change the strap.
