Which watch needs a 22 mm strap?
Generally men's watches above 42 mm: chronographs, dive watches, larger pilot watches. On many Tissot and Casio men's models this is also the original lug width. A 22 mm strap looks thicker and more robust than the narrower ones, so style matters even more here.
Which material suits your 22 mm watch?
Most people first ask: leather or metal? The answer depends on how much time the watch spends near water. We recommend leather straps (Hirsch Arne L, Duke L, Merino L, Rochet Charleston, Aviator) rather for the office and everyday wear. If you swim with it in summer too, a plastic strap or the black Rochet Neptune is better, and a metal strap looks great on steel-cased sports watches.
