The 10 mm watch straps in our range come from the French maker Rochet. This is our narrowest size, most often sought for small women's watches and delicate pieces inherited from a grandmother. The Rochet Trendy is available in black, brown, cognac and white, and there is a white Buffalo version too. What kind of watch needs a 10 mm strap?
A 10 mm lug width almost always means a small women's watch with a round or rectangular case, often with a case diameter of around 20–26 mm. You mostly see this size on older, classic pieces that their owners do not want to replace, only refresh with a new strap.
Trendy or Buffalo: which Rochet strap should you choose?
The Rochet Trendy is the calmer, everyday choice, in four colours. We usually say that brown or cognac suits a gold-coloured case best, and black suits a silver or steel case. White (both Trendy and Buffalo) looks good in summer with light clothes, but bear in mind that wear shows on it sooner.

How do you check that you really need 10 mm?
On a narrow strap even half a millimetre matters: a 10 mm strap between 11 mm lugs slides sideways and wears out. Measure with a caliper between the inner sides of the two lugs, not the width of the case. If the size is printed on the inside of the old strap, that is a good starting point, but on a worn strap measuring is the safe way. You will find the other sizes on the watch straps by width page.
Fitting at home or at the service
To change a strap you need a spring bar tool: gently press the bar in, lift out the old strap, and snap the new one into place the same way. On small women's watches the lugs sit close to the case, so if you are not sure of yourself, leave it to our own watch service.

Mainly small women's watches and older, classic women's pieces where the distance between the case lugs on the inside is 10 mm. This size practically never occurs on men's watches.

Can a 10 mm strap work on an 11 mm watch?
We do not recommend it, because the narrower strap moves sideways between the lugs and in time wears at the spring bar. Always choose the exact lug size.
