What they share is 20 ATM, that is 200 metres of water resistance, as the name of the series suggests. What makes the Roamer Deep Sea 200 a dive watch?
A dive watch is typically one rated for at least 20 ATM (200 m). Every Deep Sea 200 meets that, so it is suitable for swimming, snorkelling and diving. Roamer, incidentally, received a patent as early as 1955 for its waterproof Anfibio case, so water resistance is an old theme for the brand.
Quartz or automatic Deep Sea 200 – which should you choose?
- Quartz (the entry level of the series): accurate, no winding needed, the more carefree choice for holidays and sport.
- Automatic (the higher price range): for those who wear it daily and love a mechanical movement.
- Women's size: the women's Deep Sea models give a sporty but not oversized watch with the same water resistance.
How to look after your dive watch
After seawater or a chlorinated pool, rinse it with tap water. Do not adjust anything underwater, and always screw the crown back down fully.
