Why tsars and palaces?

The Majesties is Poljot International's more ceremonial line: the model names evoke the rulers of the Romanov era and the Hermitage in Saint Petersburg. The Hermitage refers to the museum, the Peter to Peter the Great, and the Nicolai to the line of tsars. Inside runs the same Moscow-made mechanics, which are decorated and inspected in Germany.

What to know about the Majesties models

  • Hermitage – named after the museum, and one of the collection's best-known models.
  • Nicolai – evoking the line of tsars, in several versions.
  • Tsars, Peter, Queen – rarer pieces for anyone drawn to a particular historical name.

Is the Majesties a dress watch or an everyday watch?

It's better suited to a suit and festive occasions, but nothing stops you wearing it on a weekday. If you'll wear it only now and then, the hand-wound version is more practical: wind it, set it, and it's off. The automatic is the better choice if you'd wear it daily. Within the Poljot range, the collection sits in the upper-middle price band.

You'll find the other collections on the Poljot brand page, and all the men's models among the Poljot men's watches. If you're buying it as a gift, we're happy to help you decide which one suits the recipient.

How to choose online

It's worth zooming in on the more ornate dials in the product photos. Compare the case size with the watch you wear now and choose the strap by your wrist circumference; if it needs adjusting afterwards, our own watch service can help with that.

Poljot Majesties watches – what to know

Which watches belong to the Poljot Majesties collection?

The Majesties is the Poljot line bearing the names of Tsarist Russia, with Hermitage, Nicolai, Tsars, Peter and Queen models. All of them are mechanical men's watches.

What determines the price of a Poljot Majesties?

Mainly the movement and the finish of the dial and case. Within the Poljot range, the collection sits in the upper-middle price band.

Is a Poljot Majesties a good gift?

Yes, especially for a milestone anniversary or a graduation, because it is a ceremonial piece and its name comes with a story. If you're unsure about the size, we can adjust the strap afterwards.

Do I need to change a battery in a Majesties watch?

No, because it's mechanical: you either wind it by hand, or the movement of your wrist winds it on an automatic. Neither version has a battery.
