Which Bambino size fits your wrist?
Among the Bambinos you will find both 36 and 38 mm cases, while the classic men's versions are larger. On an average 16–18 cm wrist the 38 mm usually sits best; for a slimmer wrist or for ladies, the 36 mm Bambino is the winner – which is why this size also appears among the women's Orients. The Bambino Small is the smallest in the line. When shopping online, measure your wrist circumference, and on the product page check the lug-to-lug distance as well as the case diameter.
What is the Bambino for, and what isn't it for?
The Bambino is rated 3 atm, meaning splash-proof: hand washing and rain are fine, showering and swimming are not. It is an elegant piece for the office and special occasions – if you want to exercise or take it to the beach, look at the Mako dive watches instead.
