Longines HydroConquest – 300 m Dive Watches in Several Sizes

The Longines HydroConquest is the brand's dive-watch collection, available from us in a wide selection and several sizes. Every one is water resistant to 30 atm (300 m), most are automatic, and there are GMT models too if you travel a lot. Women's HydroConquest watches are part of our range as well. As an official Longines dealer, we send a genuine watch with the manufacturer warranty, and our own watch service also takes care of regular water-resistance checks.

What can the Longines HydroConquest do?

The HydroConquest is Longines' dive-watch collection, defined by a unidirectional rotating bezel, a screw-down crown and 300 metres of water resistance. A watch is generally called a dive watch from 20 atm (200 m) of water resistance, and the HydroConquest comfortably exceeds that. The bezel lets you track dive time, but it is just as handy for a parking meter or for boiling pasta.

39, 41, 43 or 44 mm HydroConquest?

  • 39 mm – for slimmer wrists, and if you want to wear it under a shirt cuff too.
  • 41 mm – the sweet spot for most men.
  • 43–44 mm – for a stronger wrist, with a sportier, more assertive look.

The ceramic-bezel and GMT versions sit in the higher price range; in return they are more scratch-resistant, or show a second time zone.

Automatic or quartz HydroConquest?

The collection offers both automatic and quartz movements. If you wear it daily, the automatic winds itself from the motion of your wrist and has the charm that makes many people buy a mechanical watch. If you wear it less often, mostly on holiday, the quartz is more practical because it will not stop while sitting in a drawer.

How do you choose a size online?

Measure your wrist circumference with a soft tape: under 17 cm, 39 mm is in proportion; between 17 and 18 cm, 41 mm; above that, 43–44 mm. If you are unsure, write to us with your wrist size and we will help you decide. Our own watch service can also remove links from a steel bracelet.

What should you know about the HydroConquest?

How water resistant is the Longines HydroConquest?

The Longines HydroConquest is water resistant to 30 atm, that is 300 metres. It is suitable for swimming, snorkelling and diving.

Which is better: a 41 or 43 mm HydroConquest?

For an average 17–18 cm wrist, the 41 mm HydroConquest is the best proportioned. The 43 mm is recommended more for a stronger wrist and a sportier style.

What determines the price of a Longines HydroConquest?

The movement and the finish: quartz models are the collection's entry level, while automatic, ceramic-bezel and GMT versions sit in the higher price range.

What does GMT mean on the HydroConquest?

With the GMT function you can see a second time zone on a separate hand. It is useful for travellers and for people who work with partners abroad.

Does the HydroConquest come with a warranty?

Yes. As an official Longines dealer, we supply it with the manufacturer warranty, and our own watch service handles periodic water-resistance checks.
