Tissot Watch Straps – Genuine Factory Straps, PRX Straps Too
In the Tissot watch straps category you will find genuine factory straps in several widths, from narrow women's pieces to 22 mm men's straps, plus separate PRX 35 and PRX 40 straps. As an official Tissot dealer, we help you find the right match from your model number. You order online and get it delivered to your door, and our own watch service can fit the strap for you too.
How do you find the right strap for your Tissot?
Tissot is a watch brand founded in Le Locle, Switzerland, in 1853, and a member of the Swatch Group. With its straps there are two cases: on cases with traditional lugs the width decides, while on integrated models only the factory bracelet fits.
- Check the reference number: the T-prefixed number on the case back identifies the genuine strap exactly.
- Measure the lug width: Tissot straps are made in 16, 18, 20, 21 and 22 mm widths, the most common being 20 and 22 mm.
- Think about the buckle: a genuine strap arrives with the Tissot buckle, so the overall look of the watch does not change.
Why is the Tissot PRX strap a separate category?
The PRX case and strap flow into each other in an integrated shape, so a generic strap cannot be fitted. Separate straps are made for the 35 mm and the 40 mm PRX, and you will find both with us. If you would like a leather or rubber strap for your metal-bracelet PRX, this is the right starting point.
Genuine or aftermarket strap?
On a Tissot with traditional lugs, in principle any strap of the same width will fit, but the curve, thickness and buckle of the genuine strap were made for the watch. Our usual advice: on a more expensive watch, do not economise on the strap.
Changing it at home or at a watch service?
Tissot straps fitted with quick-release spring bars can be changed in a few moves without tools. With a traditional spring bar it is better to leave it to a watchmaker, because a slipping tool leaves a mark on the case; our own watch service can do the change too.
You will find straps for other brands among the watch straps.
Changing a Tissot strap – questions and answers
How do I know I am getting a genuine Tissot strap?
As an official Tissot dealer, we supply genuine Tissot straps with the brand's own buckle. The reference number tells you exactly which strap was made for your watch.
What determines the price of a Tissot watch strap?
The material and the model. Plain leather straps are in the more affordable range, while the integrated straps for the PRX are among the more expensive ones.
Can I put a leather strap on a Tissot PRX?
Yes, a genuine integrated leather or rubber strap can be fitted to the Tissot PRX, made separately for the PRX 35 and PRX 40 cases. A traditional straight-ended strap does not fit.
How do I know what size strap my Tissot needs?
The strap width is given by the inner distance between the two lugs of the case, most often 20 or 22 mm on a Tissot. The reference number on the case back identifies it exactly.
