What is the tachymeter on the Supersport Chrono for?
Together with the stopwatch, the tachymeter scale on the bezel measures speed: you start the chronograph at the beginning of a known distance, stop it at the end, and the seconds hand shows the average speed on the scale. Hardly anyone uses it in daily life, but it is a classic element of sports watches, and on the dial of the Supersport Chrono it gives the watch its character.
Supersport Chrono or Chrono XL?
- Supersport Chrono: sportier, with a contrasting dial and a tachymeter bezel – for when the watch should be seen.
- Chrono XL: a similar size but more restrained, and can look more elegant on a leather strap.

What to watch for with a quartz chronograph
If you use the stopwatch a lot, the battery runs down sooner than in a plain three-hand watch. When that happens, do not leave the dead battery in the watch for months – have it replaced as soon as possible, and our own watch service can help. Do not press the chronograph pushers underwater.
