Here we have gathered Tissot's larger-cased quartz chronographs: the T-Sport Chrono, the T-Classic Chrono and the Sport Chrono models, as well as the Chrono XL. What they share is the stopwatch function, the three small subdials and a decidedly large case, which looks best on a sturdier wrist.
Is my wrist big enough for the Chrono XL?
It is not the number of centimetres that decides, but whether the lugs overhang the edge of your wrist. If they do, choose a smaller case: at Tissot the chronographs of the PRX or PR 100 are more restrained. When buying online a simple trick helps: cut a circle out of paper with the case diameter given on the product page and put it on your wrist. In photos a big case always looks smaller than it really is.
What is a quartz chronograph good for day to day?

- Little fuss: it runs on a battery, never needs winding, and is more accurate than an automatic.
- 10 atm: you can swim with it, just do not press the stopwatch pushers under water.
