Seiko Presage is the brand's elegant automatic line, and several of its series are part of our range. What makes a Seiko Presage special?
People buy the Presage for its dial. Many models echo Japanese craft traditions, and the Cocktail Time watches capture the colour and sparkle of a particular drink, so names like Frozen, Jamaican or Eggnog are no accident. Almost the whole series is automatic, and on many models you can see Seiko's in-house movement through the caseback.
Which Presage series should you choose?
- Presage Cocktail Time – the most popular; shimmering sunray dials with a leather or metal strap.
- Presage Style and Classic – more understated, made for the office and a suit.
- Japanese and Craftsmanship – the special pieces with handcrafted dials (enamel, Urushi lacquer, Arita porcelain), the higher end of the line.
- Women's Presage – smaller cases, mostly with the Cocktail Time dials.
Can you wear it in summer too?
Most Presage watches are rated 5 bar: they handle rain and hand washing, but you should not swim with them. If you want to take your watch into the water, look for the 10 bar models – the product page always lists the water resistance. Many people search for the Sharp Edged series; if you want it and cannot find it in the list, write to us and we will look into its availability.
Warranty and service
As an official Seiko dealer, we supply every Presage with the factory warranty, and both warranty work and later maintenance are handled by our own watch service. It is worth having an automatic movement checked every few years so it keeps its accuracy.
