Rado Anatom – A Curved-Case Automatic Watch Following the Line of Your Wrist
The Rado Anatom is known for a case that follows the line of the wrist in a curve. The Anatom Automatic men's model has an automatic movement and 5 ATM water resistance, and as an official Rado dealer we bring in the other versions to order. We deliver the watch to your door with the manufacturer warranty, and later strap adjustment and water-resistance checks are handled by our own watch service.
Why does the Rado Anatom case curve?
The name gives it away: the Anatom adapts to the shape of the body. The underside of the case is curved, so it does not stand away from the wrist but settles onto it. You feel this mostly on a slimmer wrist, where a straight, large case tends to wobble. It is an elegant yet characterful shape that looks nothing like the usual round watches.
Who do we recommend the Anatom Automatic to?
- Anyone who does not want to bother with battery changes: the automatic movement draws its energy from the motion of the wrist.
- For the office, for occasions and with a suit, as its style is elegant, not sporty.
- Anyone for whom comfort matters and who would wear it all day, even on long days.
5 ATM water resistance is enough for everyday life: hand washing and rain are no problem, but take it off before swimming.
How do you choose a curved-case watch online?
With a curved case, the diameter alone says less than it does for a round watch, so on the product page also check the length of the case and compare it with the width of your wrist: the end of the case should not overhang the edge of your wrist. On a slimmer wrist the curved shape is a clear advantage. You can find the brand's other collections on the Rado watches page, and if you have a question about size, feel free to write to us.
Rado Anatom: a quick look at what you ask us
What makes the Rado Anatom case special?
The underside of the case is curved, so it hugs the wrist and does not stand away from it. This is especially comfortable on a slimmer wrist, and the shape also sets it clearly apart from the usual round watches.
Can I swim with the Rado Anatom?
We do not recommend it, because the Anatom Automatic has 5 ATM water resistance, which is only enough for splashes and hand washing. For swimming, choose a watch rated at least 10 ATM.
Does the Rado Anatom Automatic need a battery?
No, the Anatom Automatic has an automatic movement, wound by the motion of your arm. If you do not wear it for days, it may stop; in that case simply set it and start it again.
Does the Rado Anatom come with a warranty?
Yes, as an official Rado dealer we supply it with the manufacturer warranty. Strap adjustment and water-resistance checks are done by our own watch service.
