A rotating bezel, luminous hands and a robust case: the Festina The Originals Diver is the brand's dive-style men's collection. All have quartz movement, some water resistant to 20 ATM and the rest to 10 ATM, on a rubber or steel strap. As an official dealer we deliver with the manufacturer's warranty, and our own watch service checks the water resistance.
What does 20 ATM water resistance mean?
20 ATM (200 m) means that under laboratory conditions the watch withstands that much pressure. In practice it is suitable for swimming, snorkelling and recreational diving. 10 ATM (100 m) is enough for swimming and showering, but we do not recommend diving with it.
Which Festina Diver should you choose?
- If you will really be in the water: choose from the 20 ATM models, with a rubber or steel strap.
- If you mainly like the dive-watch look: the 10 ATM pieces are more than enough for everyday life.
- Strap: rubber is more practical for the beach, steel for the city.
On a dive, the rotating bezel is used to set the zero mark to the minute hand so you can see how long you have been underwater – in daily life it comes in handy for parking, too.
How do you look after a dive watch?
After salt water or a chlorinated pool, rinse it with tap water, and have the seals checked every year – you can ask for this together with a battery change from us. You will find a sportier chronograph in the Chrono Bike series, and the whole brand range is among the Festina watches. It is especially worth having the water resistance checked before a holiday, particularly if the battery was changed recently.

Can I dive with a Festina Diver?
With the 20 ATM (200 m) Festina Diver models, yes – they are suitable for recreational diving. The 10 ATM ones are good for swimming, not for diving.
What is the difference between the 10 and 20 ATM Festina Diver?
They look similar, but the case and crown of the 20 ATM can withstand more pressure, so it is suitable for diving too. The 10 ATM version gives you the dive-watch style for everyday use.
How often should a dive watch's water resistance be checked?
Once a year is a good idea, and after every battery change, because seals age. Our own watch service can do this as well.
