Is 10 atm enough for a women's watch?
For most women, yes: swimming, showers and washing up are all fine. Most women's Certinas are like this. If you dive or spend a lot of time in the water, the 20–30 atm DS Action is the more reassuring choice.
Quartz or automatic women's Certina?
Most women choose quartz, because it is smaller, flatter and always accurate. An automatic is good if you wear it every day; thanks to the roughly 80 hours of power reserve of the Powermatic 80 found in many Certina automatics, even a weekend's rest is no problem.
