Casio alarm clocks – TQ desk clocks from 4,500 HUF
We currently have 15 Casio alarm clocks in stock, between 4,500 and 11,590 HUF. Alongside the analogue models of the small, battery-powered TQ series (TQ-140, TQ-142, TQ-218, TQ-369 and others), there are a few digital alarm clocks too. You can see them in person at Rókusi Tesco and in our Anna-kút store; both have a service desk, so if the battery runs out, we replace it on the spot.
Analogue or digital Casio alarm clock?
The TQ models with hands are classic bedside clocks: one glance and you see how long until it rings. With the digital ones, the exact alarm time is easier to set and you see it as numbers on the display. If you're sensitive to quiet ticking, ask in store and we'll show you in person how audible each one is.
What to look for when buying a Casio alarm clock
- Dial size: larger, high-contrast numbers are more comfortable for older people.
- Snooze function: if you hit it several times every morning, check in the product description whether it has a repeat alarm.
- Battery: you'll find which battery it takes on the product page, so you can buy a spare too.
- Colour: the TQ-140 comes in several colours, so there's a cheerful one for a kids' room too.
Is a Casio alarm clock a good gift?
As a small gift, for a student room, a dorm or for grandparents, it's a really welcome one: cheap, simple, and with the Casio name you don't have to worry about it giving up after a few weeks. You'll find desk clocks from other brands among the alarm clocks.
Pop into Rókusi Tesco or the Anna-kút store and listen to the alarm before you take it home.
